- 1 c margarine
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 t almond extract
- 1/2 t salt
- 2 c flour
- Strawberry or raspberry or peach preserves
Beat margarine and sugar. Blend in almond extract and salt. Add flour
Shape level tablespoons full of dough into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet, flatten slightly, indent centers, fill with preserves.
Bake @ 400 degrees 8 – 10 minutes.
