3 oz. bourbon
1 oz. cranberry juice
2/3 oz. lemon juice
2/3 oz. gomme syrup *

Shake all ingredients extremely well in a shaker with ice, until frosty. Pour mixture, unstrained into a highball glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a few cranberries.

* gomme syrup is 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water, heated to a boil and cooled.
