1/2 pound breakfast sausage
4 tablespoons margarine
3 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking it into small bits as you go. Add margarine and stir until melted. Add flour and stir until well combined. Add 2 cups of milk stirring as you add. Simmer and stir until the gravy thickens. Taste, add salt and pepper as needed.

Serve with biscuits: cut the biscuit in half, lay it face open on a plate and cover both sides with sausage gravy.
