One 9 inch baked pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons white corn syrup
1 cup water
2 tablespoons strawberry jello
1 1/2 quarts fresh strawberries

Mix the sugar, cornstarch, syrup, and water together in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil and cook until clear. Add the jello, stir until well dissolved. Sit mixture aside to cool.
Wash strawberries and remove the green tops, dry gently. Arrange the berries in the pie crust, covering the bottom completely. Gently pour the jello mixture over the strawberries, being careful to cover every berry. Chill pie until cool and set.
