1 cup water
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 cup couscous
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Bring the water and butter to a boil in a small sauce pan. Stir in the couscous and remove the pan from the heat, let stand with the lid on for about 5 minutes. In a small bowl combine lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper. When the couscous is ready add the lemon juice mixture and the parmesan and stir, fluffing the couscous as you stir.
