Yield: 18 rolls

  • 2 c flour
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 1/4 c milk
  • 1/2 c margarine
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 c flour

In bowl 1 combine flour and yeast.  In bowl 2 add milk, margarine, sugar and salt.  Warm in microwave until margarine is melted.  Combine bowl 1 and 2.  Add 1 egg.  Beat on low speed of mixer 1/2 minute, then on high speed for 3  minutes.  Add flour and beat 2 minutes.  Cover and let rise for about 1 hour.

Beat down with a wooden spoon, let rest 5 minutes.  Spoon into greased muffin pans, let rise 30 minutes.  Brush with milk and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seed.  Bake @ 375 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes.
